Bamboo fiber is a kind of regenerated cellulose fiber, whose production goes through the following stages: use bamboo from land of abundance as material, adopt special high-tech process, and then, distill cellulose out of bamboo, at last, after glue-making and spinning, bamboo fiber is produced.

Bamboo, in itself, has anti-bacterial, bacteriostatic and ultraviolet radiation resistant characteristics. In the course of purifying spinning from cellulose, by means of high-tech process, the distilled generated cellulose fiber can protect the natural antibacterial substance and molecule resistant substance, making them combined in cellulose molecule, doing so, its fabric does not lose roles in the aspects of anti-bacteria, bacteria resistance and ultraviolet radiation-proof after repeatedly washes and sunburn. During post finishing, if added antibacterial agent and ultraviolet radiation resistant agent, it has substantial distinguish from other fiber.

The main technical index of bamboo fiber is slightly higher than that of cotton pulp fiber. Its fabric not only has characteristics of cotton pulp fiber, but also has better absorbent quality, permeability, draping property and more strong silk-like feeling, besides, it has particular functions such as anti-bacteria and ultraviolet radiation resistance and special styles such as smooth, colorful, easily dyed and good spinnability.

Bamboo fiber is widely used in weaving and knitting to make various kinds of material, e.g. clothing material: shirt, western-style clothes; bed clothes: towel quilt, bed-sheet, coverlet; knitted underwear; thread pants, short pants, T-shirt, bath gown, bed gown; sanitary material: clothes for nurse, respirator, cloth for operation, gauze and sanitary towel.
